As Christians or followers of Jesus, we know we are part of his “body.” And often times in the Bible, we are each even referred to as “different parts of the same body.” There is no mention in the Bible that I know of, of Jesus ever being sick while he was here in physical form … and I also know that if He ever were, He most likely would’ve just touched the sick area and it would have been healed immediately. No questions asked. He had and has the power to do so.
If Christians are part of His body, why do we still have so much sickness in our bodies when all God has to do is touch us? The Bible says that Jesus came to give us life and to give it to us abundantly. It also tells us that if we have faith even as tiny as a seed that we can say to the mountain to be thrown into the sea and it would be so.
We don’t need to ask if it’s His will for us to be whole, body, soul (psyche), and spirit… It IS His will. And He can. Funny thing is, God will not impose His will on us… we have a responsibility to be a part. Kind of like in the movie “Hitch.” Hitch is teaching Albert about “the kiss?” He tells Albert that he has to lean in for the kiss but not go all the way? God doesn’t force us into anything.
Jesus CAN heal you AND He WANTS to heal you.
My Prayer:
(Friend, put your hand on your body where the sickness or pain is as you read and speak this prayer.)
"Lord, thank you that it's your will for me to be completely whole, body, soul, and spirit. Thank you that by your stripes I was healed. Thank you for sending your Word and healing me. Healing power of Jesus flow through my body right now, from my head to my toes. Pain/Sickness, dematerialize and cease to exist in the name of Jesus, Amen."
PS.
If you aren't a born-again in your spirit, it's the only way to God. It's the only way to make it into heaven. The Bible tells us in the book of John that we must be born again. It also tells us that we must believe in Jesus as the Son of God, not "just a prophet."
In the book of Romans, it tells us that we must believe this in our heart and confess it with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and God raised Him from the dead and we will be saved.
If you believe what I am telling you and what the Bible is saying, and you want the assurance of eternity in Heaven (and salvation from eternity in Hell,) all you have to do is say, out loud, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you will be saved.
When you’ve done that, I would tell you to ask God, “God I want all that you have to offer. I want all of your benefits. I want the power to live this life Shauna is talking about. I want to be baptized in your Holy Spirit. Thank you!”
There's so much more that God has for you. Please let me know if you believed in Jesus and said those words for the first time. I'd love to pray with you and help point you in the right direction on your journey to becoming a follower of Jesus.
All of heaven is having party in honor of you right now. Be sure to get yourself a Bible and get as much of it into your memory as possible... a paper copy, because you just never know when our electricity and internet will be gone.

I appreciate this blog with the straight forward truth of God’s promises. If He says it, He’ll do it if we let Him! Thanks, Shauna
